Just yesterday marks the anniversary of a fateful day back on April 18, 1775, when the church sexton, Robert Newman, climbed the steeple of this church, Old North Church, and held high two lanterns as a signal from Paul Revere that the British were marching to Lexington and Concord by sea and not by land. This event ignited the American Revolution.

so this picture is playing tricks on my eyes. Were you holding your camera upside down or something?? It looks like the bricks are getting closer at the top instead of at the bottom. Its kinda messing with my eyes.
Indeed the photo is displayed upside down which makes the church appear, as a reflection, right side up.
