Here is a photo I shot while running the Deseret News Marathon. It was a work assignment and the slide show can be found here at DeseretNews.com. Tom Smart helped out by providing many of the photos on the show. I can't promise I will offer to shoot photos and record sound for a marathon ever again. We'll see how quickly the amnesia sets in. It hasn't yet and my legs still hurt....

What are you doing running a marathon in Utah in July? In the words of Pam's dad, "That'll teach ya!"
From a woman who drives her van to the church house every week and the church house is less than two blocks away, WHAT? What's up with getting up in the morning and punishing your body? You marathon folks must be living a higher metaphysical psychological outer body law than I am. When you are a couch potato such as me, just watching other people run is sometimes painful.
I watched your slideshow from beginning to end. Great work. I can’t believe you ran with all that equipment. Of course, if I ever ran a marathon, I would run with loads of equipment as well. A respirator and a fibulator.
