Here is my family (The Monkey was with the sitter) in front of a HUGE store called Da Hu Tong in Tianjin. It's a great place to find great deals and barter like your life depended on it.
I always love to see pictures of me when I'm skinny :-)!! Gold star for you. You forgot to mention that Sophie's snazzy red boots were one of the "great deals" you mentioned. I believe she picked those out all by herself. Good times. Sophie and Ian were just looking at this photo and Ian said, "I don't want to move back to China because everyone is TOO GRABBY!" That pretty well sums up his experience as a gringo kid with BLONDE HAIR.
How do you like your Holga? I've been wanting to get a holga for years, but hate the thought of going back to film. I love the look of the photos thought; the blurring, vignetting, and cross color processing.... I finally spent an hour or two fiddling in photoshop to turn my digital images into lomography magic, but it feels a like cheating. Do you shoot with yours a lot?
Marc, I really like the photos from this first attempt at it. I am currently only working on my fourth or fifth roll right now. I have one roll being processed now. We'll see how it looks but after getting these first pics scanned in, I am pretty excited to shoot more. My wife already wants to do the kids portraits with it.

I'm loving this photo! The framing, color contrasts, and "antiqueness" are striking. Great work!
